as well as what the watchtower study articles are going to be about for the next few sundays.. i have someone who is interested in going to a meeting to 'observe' the control techniques used and we want it to be a meeting where topics about disfellowhipping, child abuse, or the like will be discussed.. i do appreciate your help.. kismet

That's what we need to participate is sending a volley of letters of concern to each member in support of Bill, and in protest of the policy they claim to have of helping the victim and informing the authorities, but the abundance of experiences proves the WTS is lying.
As for contacting the Oprah show...click onto the thread below. It is interesting since Oprah has responded to a letter written by the author of the thread and invited her on the show!!!!

Yes...this cartoon says so much, you would almost think this cartoonist is an escaped JW!! lol The sheep seems to be naively repeating all the propaganda we've all heard so many times before.
And with so many of us having experienced the harsh treatment of borg-trained elders/"so-called" shepherds, our knowing that they are being exposed to the world and the glossy exterior of the WTS palace is being eroded, takes a bit of the sting away at least.

How can the WTS continue to be classified as a "non-profit organization" when they have $79 million in cash revenue and only $2 million in cash expenses not even mentioning the wide gap between receivables and payables.
This does not make ANY sense at all to be allowed to be called a charity, non-profit therefore tax-exempt organization!!!!!
Surely some organization should be interested in reviewing their "qualifications" for this status.

Example of how WTS fails to protect the children
by Had Enough inthis article in the los angeles times today, has been bothering me all day.
this sweet little 5 year old girl was abducted, brutally raped and killed and now they have arrested a suspect who was just recently acquitted of charges of molestation of 2 other little girls.. the reasons for which he was acquitted are so flimsy and facts that were not allowed to be presented, could possibly have turned the tables on him.. now they are asking this question: "did the system fail to protect samantha?".

I agree Scully...It seems MONEY is the only thing they understand.
The WTSs actions prove that they hear only "cha-ching" over all the crying, moaning and pleading of those who are trying to get help, justice or relief from their burdens.
And how many times have we had 1Tim 6:10 thrown in OUR faces at assemblies and the meetings while they sit back amassing their $$$$. But like you, I'm looking forward to seeing them have to "sit up and take notice".
